Made by hand, inspired by imagination
Amaris is a multidisciplinary North Bay artist with a lifelong love of color, creativity, and handcrafted art. A costume designer for more than 25 years, she designs and creates her own custom costumes, bringing imagination and a strong eye for detail to every piece she makes.
For the past three years, Amaris has brought that same artistic spirit to face painting. She loves transforming faces with bright colors, playful designs, and a little bit of magic. Her experience includes both children’s birthday parties and larger community events, including the Cline Bluegrass Festival, giving her a special knack for colorful festival-style face painting as well as designs for younger children.
When she isn’t painting faces or creating costumes, Amaris is usually making something. She enjoys acrylic painting and creating intricate jewelry from seed beads in her spare time. Always interested in exploring different forms of art, she brings years of creative experience, craftsmanship, and a genuine love of making things by hand to every event.
